1. Who is responsible for your information?

RIVRA is operated by Daniel Hood in the United Kingdom. RIVRA is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and its services.

For privacy questions or requests, email danhood1234@gmail.com. A full trading or postal address will be added before paid online sales begin and is available on request in the meantime.

2. What information we collect

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and business details.
  • Information you include in an enquiry, website brief or Website Blueprint plan.
  • Purchase, invoice and account information. Full card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by RIVRA.
  • Messages, support requests and feedback.
  • Basic technical and usage information, such as browser type, pages viewed and security records, where the website’s hosting or analytics tools provide it.

Images selected inside the current Website Blueprint preview stay in that browser session and are not uploaded. Until secure accounts are enabled, Blueprint answers and progress are stored locally on the customer’s device.

3. Why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare a requested quote.
  • To provide the Website Blueprint, customer access, support and website-building services.
  • To process payments, keep financial records and prevent fraud.
  • To send essential purchase, access, security and service messages.
  • To maintain, protect and improve the website and customer experience.
  • To send optional marketing only where permission has been given or the law otherwise allows it. You can opt out at any time.

4. Our lawful bases

Depending on the situation, RIVRA relies on: taking steps before entering a contract and performing a contract; legitimate interests in running, improving and protecting the business; complying with legal obligations; and consent where it is required, including for optional marketing or non-essential cookies.

5. Who we share information with

Information is shared only where needed with trusted service providers, including website hosting and infrastructure providers, Stripe for payments when checkout is connected, Resend for transactional emails when automated email is connected, and professional advisers or authorities where legally required.

These providers act under their own terms or data-processing obligations. RIVRA does not sell personal information.

6. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, RIVRA will use a legally recognised safeguard or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism required by UK data-protection law.

7. How long we keep information

  • Unsuccessful enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months.
  • Customer, contract, payment and invoice records may be kept for up to six years where needed for legal, tax or dispute purposes.
  • Account and Website Blueprint information will be kept while the account is active and then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to reasonable backup and legal-retention periods.

8. Cookies and local storage

The website may use essential browser storage to remember Website Blueprint progress and other necessary preferences. Non-essential analytics or marketing cookies will not be used without the appropriate notice and choice. Clearing browser storage may remove device-only Blueprint progress.

9. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to certain uses. You may also withdraw consent at any time where consent is the lawful basis.

Email RIVRA to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

10. Security and changes

RIVRA uses reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service can promise absolute security. This policy may be updated when services, suppliers or legal requirements change; the latest date will always appear at the top.
