1. About RIVRA
RIVRA is operated by Daniel Hood in the United Kingdom. For questions, complaints or business correspondence, contact hello@madebyrivra.co.uk. Appropriate postal correspondence details are available on request.
2. Existing Website Blueprint customers
The Website Blueprint is not currently available for new purchases while it is developed as a separate product. These terms continue to apply to customers who purchased it previously and retain access.
The Blueprint was sold as a one-off £79 digital product designed to create a personalised website plan, suggested structure, draft copy, brand guidance, image plan, build checklist and launch plan from information supplied by the customer. Access is for the purchasing customer and one business unless RIVRA agrees otherwise in writing.
3. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping login details secure and checking all generated or suggested material before publishing it. You must verify factual claims, qualifications, prices, legal notices, customer reviews, image permissions and business contact details.
You must not use the Website Blueprint unlawfully, attempt to bypass access controls, resell or share account access, copy the product for competing commercial use, or upload content that infringes another person’s rights.
4. Draft and generated material
Website Blueprint output is a practical starting point, not legal, financial or professional advice. It may require editing and does not guarantee search rankings, sales, enquiries or any particular business result.
You keep ownership of information and original materials you supply. RIVRA grants you a non-exclusive licence to use the Website Blueprint output created for your business. The Website Blueprint software, system, branding, templates and underlying materials remain owned by RIVRA or its licensors.
5. Earlier Blueprint payments and access
Website Blueprint payments were processed securely by Stripe. RIVRA does not receive or store complete card details.
Where a valid immediate-access acknowledgement was recorded before payment, the customer actively requested immediate digital access and acknowledged the effect this had on the 14-day right to cancel for a change of mind. RIVRA recorded the accepted statement, policy version and time against the resulting purchase and repeated the acknowledgement in the purchase-confirmation email. Where no valid acknowledgement was recorded, nothing in these terms alters the customer's statutory cancellation position.
After Stripe confirmed a successful purchase, RIVRA emailed a personal access link to the address used at checkout. Progress is stored on the device and browser used for the Blueprint, so existing customers should keep the purchase email and should not clear that browser's site data until they have finished or downloaded their work.
6. Website-building services
RIVRA website builds are separate services. The scope, price, payment schedule, timings, revision allowance, third-party costs and deliverables will be confirmed in a written proposal and Project Agreement before work starts.
Unless the Project Agreement states otherwise, Launch and Starter Websites are paid in two stages: 50% before work begins and 50% after final approval and before launch. Business and Bespoke Websites are paid in three stages: 25% before work begins, 50% after the design direction is approved and before the main build, and 25% after final approval and before launch or handover. RIVRA sends each stage as a Stripe invoice when the agreed milestone is reached. Work does not begin until the first stage payment has cleared, and launch or handover takes place only after the final balance is paid.
The Launch Website includes two pages, the Starter Website includes up to five pages, the Business Website includes up to ten pages, and the Bespoke Website has no fixed page limit because its final page count and scope are agreed in writing. Customers may indicate between one and twenty additional pages when making an enquiry. All additional pages and other optional extras are quoted after review. A standard page uses the agreed website design and customer-supplied or agreed content; complex layouts, substantial copywriting or bespoke functionality may require a separate quote.
Booking systems, online shops and custom integrations are quoted after RIVRA reviews the required products, services, payments and customer journey. Third-party subscriptions, transaction fees and software charges are not included unless stated in writing.
The Launch Website does not include a post-launch support period. Starter and Business Websites include 30 days of launch support, while Bespoke Websites include 90 days of launch support, beginning on the agreed launch or handover date. This support covers reasonable assistance with the delivered website and does not include new pages, redesigns, new functionality or ongoing content work unless agreed separately.
Typical delivery is 7 days for a Launch Website, 30 days for a Starter Website, 60 days for a Business Website and 90 days or longer for a Bespoke Website. These are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines. Timing starts when the agreed first stage payment, questionnaire, content and required account access have been received; delayed content, instructions, approvals or feedback may move the launch date.
The £79 Website Blueprint price is credited against a later RIVRA website build for the same business when confirmed in the applicable quote. A recommendation inside the Website Blueprint is an estimate only and is not a binding quote.
7. Monthly website plans
Managed Hosting, Website Care and Website Assistant are monthly rolling subscriptions billed in advance through Stripe. They are intended for websites built by RIVRA, or other websites RIVRA has agreed it can safely support. Third-party software, domain, email, booking and payment-provider fees are separate unless agreed in writing.
Managed Hosting includes hosting, SSL, backups, basic monitoring and technical upkeep. Website Care also includes a quarterly health check, form and link testing, and one small text or image update per quarter. Website Assistant also includes standard content updates completed within five working days and up to 90 minutes of update work in each monthly billing period. Unused time and quarterly updates do not roll over.
Standard updates include reasonable text, image, service, price, offer and announcement changes. New pages, redesigns, copywriting projects, search campaigns, advanced features, integrations and work beyond the stated allowance require a separate quote. Turnaround begins when RIVRA has all required instructions and materials and may be agreed separately for unusually complex requests.
Customers can request cancellation at any time through the Stripe customer portal or by emailing RIVRA. Cancellation stops the next renewal and service continues until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise agreed. RIVRA may suspend service after reasonable notice if payment fails or if supporting the website would create a security, legal or technical risk.
8. Availability and changes
RIVRA aims to keep the service available but may carry out maintenance, correct faults, improve features or suspend access for security or misuse. If a material change prevents delivery of a paid product, RIVRA will provide an appropriate remedy.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation and refund rights are explained in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
RIVRA is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of failing to use reasonable care and skill or breaching these terms. RIVRA does not exclude liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Where you purchase wholly for business purposes, RIVRA is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data or anticipated savings, except where the law does not allow that limitation. Customers should keep copies of important content and downloads.
11. Ending access
RIVRA may suspend or end access where payment is reversed, these terms are seriously breached, the service is misused or security is threatened. Where practical, RIVRA will explain the issue and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
12. Free Homepage Mock-Up
Free homepage mock-up requests are reviewed for suitability, available information and RIVRA’s capacity. RIVRA will confirm whether a request can be accepted within one working day. Accepted concepts are normally sent within two working days after acceptance and receipt of enough information. These are service targets rather than guaranteed deadlines. Submitting a request does not guarantee that a concept will be prepared or reserve a project start date.
The free mock-up is one static, non-working homepage concept supplied for evaluation. It is not a finished website and does not include additional pages, working forms, final copywriting, development, hosting or revision rounds. There is no payment and no obligation to purchase a website.
You keep ownership of original business materials you supply. Unless RIVRA agrees otherwise in writing or the concept becomes part of a paid project, RIVRA retains ownership of its original concept and grants permission only to view it for evaluation. The concept must not be published, copied, adapted or passed to another provider for implementation without RIVRA’s written permission.
13. Free Website Audit
The free Website Audit reviews the submitted public homepage and, where available, up to three relevant supporting pages. It grades a limited set of visible clarity, local-search, enquiry, trust and technical signals and may apply score limits where essential foundations are missing.
If a website’s hosting blocks the direct automated connection, RIVRA may use a trusted public-page retrieval provider to assess visible content. In that case, the result clearly identifies the limited technical scan, code-level and speed findings are restricted, and the maximum score may be capped.
It is not a complete accessibility, legal, security, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO or human design assessment, and it does not guarantee rankings, enquiries or business results. You should not rely on the automated result as the only basis for an important business decision. RIVRA may update the checks and scoring method as the service improves.
14. General terms
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining parts continue. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. No other person has a right to enforce these terms unless the law says otherwise.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
